China XLX Fertiliser launches new compound fertiliser complex
China XLX Fertiliserannounced its wholly owned subsidiary Henan Xinlianxin Fertiliser has begun production at a new compound fertiliser plant.
With an annual capacity of 150,000 tonnes, the plant will boost the Group's total annual compound fertiliser capacity by 25% to 750,000 tonnes, enabling it to further expand this higher profit margin operation.
Liu Xingxu, Chairman and CEO of the Group, said the compound fertiliser operations accounted for around 23% of the Group's total revenue last year. The company expects this figure will climb to about 30% this year, while the revenue contribution from methanol business will further decline during the period. The new compound fertiliser plant will relieve the company's existing capacity bottlenecks, driving the sustainable growth of its feed business, Liu added.
